ABOUT US
Avan Travel Services is a family-owned boutique tour operator company located in Orange, California. I have my degree from the University of Ankara with a major in Italian Philology (language, literature and history). I started working as a tour guide when I was 17 years old as a summer job. In my early years of university, I decided to pursue tourism professionally and finished the guiding school organized by the Turkish Ministry Of Tourism and Culture. After obtaining my license as a tour guide I chose cultural and religious tourism as a career.
In 2008 I moved to California and founded Avan Travel Services. I wanted to use my 20+ years of experience to start a tour operator company here. I personally plan and operate our tours to Turkey and Israel so every group member gets personal attention.
